Hey Chantelle! 👋 We'd love to know -- where in the world are you? What do you like about it? Dislike?
I live in Somerset West, South Africa, it's known for its stunning landscapes, with the Helderberg Mountain Range providing a picturesque backdrop. Many people appreciate the relaxed lifestyle. Additionally, the area boasts excellent wine estates and vineyards, offering opportunities for wine tasting and strolls through the vineyards.
However, like any place, Somerset West may have its drawbacks, while the natural beauty is a highlight for many, others might find the dry, hot summers uncomfortable, especially if they prefer cooler climates.
What’s your favorite way to create content? What’s your favorite way to consume it? Why?
I prefer videos (which can be sped up) with slides that provide visual cues. I also prefer to make my content in this way as I am not fond of reading.
Describe your dream client.
My dream client is a holistic healer, which could be a spiritual healer or even a traditional psychotherapist. They're passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise to help others, and they see the potential of the online world to reach a wider audience. They value inclusivity and accessibility, wanting their message to be available to everyone, regardless of background or ability.
Why is that person a dream client? How would you help them?
This person is a dream client because they understand the power of technology as a tool, not a replacement, for their work. They're open to exploring website development, automation, and online course creation to amplify their impact. I can help them by building a beautiful and user-friendly website that reflects their unique approach. I can also automate tasks to free up their time, allowing them to focus on what they do best – healing and teaching.
Additionally, I can help them create engaging online courses or educational content to further empower their clients. Throughout the process, I prioritize collaboration, working directly with them to ensure the final product aligns perfectly with their vision and values.
What’s a funny anecdote, related to your area of expertise, that you can’t believe you did (or believed)?
One time, early in my career as a developer, I spent hours meticulously troubleshooting what I thought was a complex coding issue, only to realize later that I had forgotten to close a simple HTML tag. It was a moment of simultaneous disbelief and hilarity as I realized the solution was right there in front of me the whole time. From that day forward, I always double-checked even the smallest details in my code!
How would you describe MV to an online business owner who’s never heard of it?

It is super easy to use, the support is amazing and I love the platform in general. I also got in at a ridiculous rate which I won't give up.
What frustrates or annoys you about using MV?
I wish there was a copy function for section in the block builder
