Your Guide to MemberVault’s Image Sizes

Ever wonder about the perfect size or dimensions for your images in MemberVault? 

A quick disclaimer before we proceed: Any images you upload to MemberVault will automagically become mobile-friendly so you can absolutely use any image sizes that fit your brand’s aesthetics so feel free to play around with the numbers! 🎉

However, if you need a little bit more guidance around this area, then look no further! Below you’ll find our recommended sizes for each of the main images you’ll need to create for your MemberVault site and products along with a handy Canva template for each of these items so you can get straight to designing mode.

LOGO

Your logo will appear at the top of your MemberVault site's header. It is usually positioned at the center but you can absolutely customize this via the Navigation's Settings! To upload your logo, simply go to Appearance > Branding and from there, you'll find the option to add your logo.

Recommended size: 480 x 140 px (width x height)

FAVICON

A favicon is the little image that appears next to your account's title in every major web browser. It is also used by mobile users who add it to their home screens. By default, this will show the MemberVault's logo but you can change this by going to Appearance > Branding > Favicon.

Recommended size: 192 x 192 px (width x height)

WELCOME AREA IMAGE

This is the perfect place to show your face or personality by adding your headshot or your favorite gif! You can set this up by going to Appearance > Welcome area.

Recommended size: 900 x 900 px (width x height)

PRODUCT IMAGE

These images are shown with the product's details both in your Marketplace and on the product's specific page.

Recommended size: 1280 x 486 px (width x height)

MODULE IMAGE

​These images are viewed on a products page and within each module's view within the product.

Recommended size: 1200 x 200 px (width x height)

SOCIAL SHARE IMAGE

This image will appear whenever you're sharing your MV site on Facebook. This feature can be found by going to Settings > General. From there, you'll need to locate the 'Social Sharing' area and this is where you can upload your custom social share image.

Recommended Size: 1200 x 628 px (width x height)

UPSELL IMAGE

This is the image that you can add to your sign-up confirmation page where you can use it to showcase your upsell product. Learn more on how to set this up here.

HOT TIP: If you find the images you upload are a little bit blurry and not as sharp as you'd like, try increasing the dimension of your image two-fold. For example, if your image's original size is 640 x 243px, increase those equally by 2x (ie. 1280 x 486px). This will ensure your image stays nice and crisp no matter the screen size!
